About Me

Violeta Chorley

I've always been drawn to understanding & helping others. The opportunity to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for individuals to explore their emotions, navigate challenges and grow is both rewarding and deeply fulfilling. I believe that through my therapies, I can make a meaningful difference in people's lives, and that drives my passion for what I do. I integrate all my skills gained through various training and qualifications and offer a confidential, non-judgemental, flexible approach and different methods at your own pace to suit your needs.

I provide psychoeducation to my clients with valuable information about mental health and well-being throughout all my therapies. My aim is to help you develop a better understanding of your experiences and empower you to make informed decisions about your self-care by developing greater awareness and insight into your patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving. This will enable you to make meaningful changes in your life.

Qualified Yoga Instructor (500hrs)
I have been practising yoga for over 13 years. I was drawn to this practice to improve my well-being and resolve my back pain. For me now, yoga is the way of living. I feel it as a connection of mind, body, and soul to maintain a healthy body. It enables me to enjoy everything that life brings and transform all experiences into good and positive ones. I completed my two years of Yoga Teacher Training with Devon School of Yoga in Exeter, which covered anatomy, physiology, philosophy, and the traditional lineage of holistic yoga. I am drawn to the tradition of Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga, and I also teach chair yoga to people with limited movement abilities.

Reiki Master Practitioner
I qualified as Reiki Master with the Devon School of Reiki Exeter. I was drawn to its gentle yet profound approach to healing. By being trained in Usui's method, I have learned how to harness and channel universal life force energy to promote healing, stress reduction, and relaxation for yourself and others. This holistic practice can be applied through hands-on treatment (touch or no touch) or from a distance, with the goal of restoring balance and well-being on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels. The idea of channelling energy to promote balance and well-being resonated deeply with me, and I felt called to share this powerful practice with others.

Clinical Aromatherapist
I qualified with Devon Academy of Complementary Therapies in Exeter. Aromatherapy captivated me with its delightful blend of fragrance and wellness. The soothing scents of essential oils, coupled with their therapeutic properties, create a multi-sensory experience that calms the mind and promotes overall well-being. I was drawn to the idea of harnessing these natural wonders to help others find balance and relaxation.

Qualified Wingwave Coach
I tried many therapies, but Wingwave stood out as especially powerful technique. I saw positive shifts and results right away. I am drawn to Wingwave because of its innovative approach to personal growth and transformation. It is a joy to witness my clients soar above their mental barriers and achieve their goals with the help of this empowering method.

Trainee Counsellor
I am currently on Level 4 counselling training with Step by Step Counselling College. Building upon the foundational skills acquired in Level 2 and 3 the Level 4 training is equipping me with more specialized knowledge and techniques. This advanced course provides me with invaluable insights into various counselling techniques, theories, and best practices. I am discovering new ways to support clients, foster empathy, and promote healing in therapeutic relationships.

Volunteering
I am an NHS Volunteer and I Facilitate the HOPE (Help Overcoming Problems Effectively) Programme courses to support individuals struggling with long-term health conditions; build the confidence and resilience to better manage their condition(s), symptoms and challenging experiences that may arise.

I also offer accessible online sessions..

I understand the importance of accessibility when it comes to your mental health and wellbeing. While we all value in-person therapy sessions, I recognize that it's not always easy to attend appointments in person. To ensure you receive the support you need, I also offer online therapy sessions that provide the same level of care and guidance from the comfort of your own home.

My online sessions are designed to help you prioritize your well-being and receive the care you need, regardless of your location or schedule. I am dedicated and committed to helping you achieve personal growth and healing, both virtually and in person. Take the first step towards a more balanced and fulfilling life.
